When our team researched implementation of the application after the creation of the idea, we discovered that the Android OS does not support replacing the lock screen currently.
Our team has decided to continue development on the StudiDroid education application.
The beta release has been uploaded due to our loss of time with the initial projects. We made sure to work hard to put out an improved version and will be working all summer to complete a robust version of StudiDroid 0.1 Release
Features we are workings towards:
Mathematical and Symbol Table Integration
Improved Interface
Improved Performance / Application Size
E-mail Compatibility to allow easy transfer
Text to Speech for the Disabled

Concept Slides
Conceptualization Slides, as promised, have been uploaded to the Google Code page. Head on over to download the powerpoint.
Slides pertaining the aforementioned similar application and our abandoning Beacon, conceputalization for Connect, and revised Summer schedule to be uploaded within 48 hours.
The Future of Beacon does not look promising. Our team has decided to abandon the goal due to finding a identical newly released appplication that was found while researching similar existing applications. This application was abandonded originally but within the last few weeks, apparently, fully launched under a new name / company.
We have worked hard to make up for lost time and found a suitable, more promising, venture for the summer.
Slides pertaining the aforementioned similar application and our abandoning Beacon, conceputalization for Connect, and revised Summer schedule to be uploaded within 48 hours.
